We saw a problem and created a solution.

The concept of EV-RVA was created by our founder, Dimitri Duroseau, while working at Chick-fil-A during his undergrad years at VCU. With an existing passion for cars, Dimitri took notice of the growing number of electric vehicles that frequented the drive-thru. He realized that there was a growing market in the EV sector, and that the infrastructure for the demand was not in place. Dimitri began gathering research and data on the issues that were forming in the EV market.

The first thing he noticed was the scarcity of chargers available in heavily populated areas. Dimitri even went as far as asking his guests what challenges they faced with the EV charging infrastructure and if they would utilize modular chargers if they were available. With rise in demand and very low availability, we knew that creating a charging solution was crucial. And what better place to start than here in our very own community?
